Medical QiGong - An ancient study & practice of Chinese medicine.

“QiGong”
The skill of the directing the vital energy that flows through all of life.

Medical QiGong utilizes the movement of Qi (energy) to purge, tonify and regulate the client’s organs and energy fields that provides a gentle healing technique to improve the overall health of the client.

These 5 major organs according to Traditional Chinese Medicine hold a group of toxic emotions brought on by emotional and physical trauma during our lifetime. The Heart holds anxiety, shock, excitement, and the long term memory of emotional trauma. The spleen holds worry, obsession and self worth issues. The lungs hold grief, sorrow, shame, guilt and despair. The kidneys hold fear and loneliness. The liver holds anger, rage, jealousy and depression. These organs are called the 5 Yin organs and are energetically attached to the 5 Yang organs: small intestines, stomach, large intestines, urinary bladder and gall bladder through the meridian system.

The focus of a medical Qigong session is to purge, tonify and regulate these toxic emotions and return the organs to their original Spirit (Yuan Shen) which contains these attributes. The Heart holds peace, order, forgiveness and love. The Spleen holds trust, openness and resolution. The Lungs hold integrity, righteousness and courage. The Kidneys hold wisdom, will power and the ability to root Divine Will to human will. The Liver holds compassion, kindness and benevolence.

Additional focus is placed on each client’s particular needs and physical condition. Established Medical QiGong protocols are utilized for specific diseases as well. The client may also receive prescriptions based on breathing techniques, physical movements and meditation to be used between treatments.
